Day 0- Bengaluru Departure to Somwarpet: Pickup Points and Overnight Itinerary

Meet the Thripzel trip coordinator and fellow travellers.

Departure from Bangalore | 8:00 PM onwards

• Assemble at Shantala Silk House, Majestic, Bangalore.
• Board the Non-AC Tempo Traveler or Mini Bus.
• Begin the overnight journey towards Somwarpet.
• Rest during the journey and prepare for the trekking adventure ahead.

Day 1 – Kumara Parvatha Trek and Homestay

Early Morning Arrival

• Arrive at the homestay near Somwarpet.
• Freshen up and get ready for the day's trek.
• Have breakfast at the homestay.
• Collect your packed lunch, as arranged for the trek.
• Travel to the authorized forest entry starting point.
• Attend the trek leader's safety briefing and follow the applicable forest department instructions.

Kumara Parvatha Trek Experience

• Begin the trek through forest trails and grasslands.
• Trek approximately 7 km uphill towards the designated summit or permitted turnaround point.
• Enjoy the scenic Western Ghats landscape.
• Reach Kumara Parvatha Summit and spend time enjoying the views.
• Have packed lunch at the Summit.
• Optional Shesha Parvatha extension, approximately 1 km further, only if permitted and approved by the forest department local guide.

2:00 PM – Descent Begins

• Start the approximately 7 km descent towards the trek base.
• Follow the trek leader's instructions and maintain the group's pace.

6:00 PM – Return to the Homestay

• Reach the trek base.
• Return to the homestay and relax.
• Enjoy a campfire with music subject to weather conditions and local rules.
• Have dinner and settle in for an overnight stay.
• Separate accommodation arrangements for men and women.

Day 2- Mallalli Falls and Return to Bangalore

• Wake up and freshen up.
• Enjoy breakfast.
• Check out from the homestay.

Morning Sightseeing

• Visit the scenic Mallalli Falls, subject to local access and weather conditions.
• Next travel towards Golden Temple at Kushalnagar.

Return Journey to Bangalore

• Lunch is self-sponsored during the return journey.
• Begin the journey back to Bangalore.
• Arrive at Majestic, Bangalore, at approximately 11:00 PM, subject to traffic and road conditions.
